Educational Programmes

Our team of experienced conservationists, agriculturalists and educators are available to discuss programs best suited to your class. We are able to provide a wide range of activities for children from preschool and throughout the primary years.

Children in secondary school can be lead on an educational tours by our oenologist and our agriculturalist to learn first-hand about oenology, viticulture, permaculture & gardening, bee-keeping, olive oil production, conservation and environmental awareness.

Grape Harvest & Pressing of the Grapes (September-October)

Held in the vineyard and winery, the children gain hands-on experience. 

Collecting the Olives (November)

Held in the olive grove, the children participate in the traditional harvest, using real tools

Life Cycle of the vineyard (Year-round)

Held in the vineyards, the children learn how the vine has been cultivated since ancient times.

Cultivate a Garden (Year-round)

Held in the olive grove, the vineyard and the permaculture garden, the children gather the necessary tools to plant their own garden & take it back to school.

Exploring the Senses (nursery-reception)

The children explore the 5 senses through 5 stations and a sensory walk.
